We are Faust and Morwen (or just Wen), a pair of writers currently living in Sydney, Australia. We started blogging our opinions about art and culture since July 2025.
We feel strongly about web 2.0 and this is our way of bringing it back. Short of using LiveJournal.
Our blog’s namesake came from the belief that art and culture are like the nutritional outer layer of food that is often overlooked and discarded. We are reclaiming that beneficial outer layer for our lives (#healthkick).
Faust – 30+, always in front of a screen leisurely or professionally. Lover not a fighter. Likes: soft-scrambled eggs, walks, and obscure films. Dislikes: anti-cringe culture, Linkedin lunatics, and interstate rivalry (I’m worldly).
Morwen – 30+, on the internet for a living but physically situated within proximity of cats. Award-winning mind-racer. Likes: Galaxy Quest, making and eating dumplings, and afternoon tea. Dislikes: Most people, espresso martinis, hot weather.
